For us discerners here at Holy Vocations, it is important that we are energized. This is far, far greater than simply standing up on our own two feet. It is about being energized and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

I believe "by streams of waters" speaks of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the believer's life. It is so very important for us discerners to to be full of the Holy Spirit. It is only when we fully utilize the gift of the Holy Spirit that we will become great witnesses for Jesus Christ- one ministry that we should all embark on.

I know there are times in our lives when we're exhausted, both mentally and physically. And it's in these times that we should call on the Holy Spirit to give us renewed energy and vitality to continue the work or task that God has called us to do.

If you find yourself weary or undecided about your vocation today, it's my prayer that you will invite God's Spirit to revitalize you inside and out…and that you will experience the vitality that only He can bring!
