For anyone considering a possible call to the Priestly Fraternity of St Peter (FSSP):


The FSSP's Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary has revamped their website, and there is now a Frequently Asked Questions included.

I have noticed that OLGS has lowered the entry requirements from a College Degree to a High School Diploma; taking the position of ICRSS and FSSPX saying that certain colleges "corrupt" the individual, making him "incompatible" for seminary.

Yes, they have dropped this requirement (thank goodness for me!). I have not heard the reasons being that college corrupts any individual, though college life is often undeniably harmful to the discernment of a vocation. The largest reason for their dropping this requirement is so that men do not incur too much debt and thus make themselves ineligible for ordination.
